The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring celestial beings, fiends, and dark forces expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of this adventure are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of heroes who will separate from the main group to begin their own adventure, apart from the other two tables.

This warrior group includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by the voice actor), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

The Reason for Division

With 13 cast members, it was obvious from the start that keeping everyone at one table would be impossible.

Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before splitting into three separate parties: Warriors, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

As described by Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed fight-heavy story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Upon first impression, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might look out of place, but the events of the latest installment show why these particular heroes are best suited for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the team understands precisely where to go next after a brutal first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

A former ally of the deceased character—whose passing started the narrative’s action—used the foes for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and swiping all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then paid off his debts and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, beyond Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each member has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as the companion and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and warns that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have no other options.
  • However, their position as important members in the powerful family could enable the team reach areas they normally couldn’t.
  • Moreover, Teor pledged a life debt to Wicander for his deliverance and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making lingering locally no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

From episode three’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group will not appear the following episode, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Questers and Strategists parties.

Fans can look forward to discovering which characters will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, streaming live on October 24.
